TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY PUSHES CAR-POOLS FOR APRIL 6 EVENT

          Texas Motor Speedway officials will begin running radio
     and TV ads featuring NASCAR Winston Cup Champion Terry
     Labonte urging fans to car-pool to the inaugural Interstate
     Batteries 500 on April 6.  Texas Motor Speedway will run
     local radio spots and buy print advertising in the Ft. Worth
     Star-Telegram and the Dallas Morning News.  The ad campaign
     is in addition to "millions of dollars" spent by Speedway
     officials in an effort to expedite traffic around the track
     before the first event ever held at TMS (TMS).
