RAVENS' NEW HOME WILL FIT IN WITH ITS NEIGHBOR, ORIOLE PARK

          The Ravens' new $190M stadium at Camden Yards will have
     characteristics "designed to both complement and contrast"
     with Oriole Park, according to Jon Morgan of the Baltimore
     SUN.  Construction materials used for the stadium, which is
     being designed by HOK, will reflect the "industrial flavor"
     of the southern end of Camden Yards.  Architectural elements
     include three-story glass windows on the club and skybox
     levels; a discontinuous upper deck which allows for upper-
     level end zone seats to be lowered closer to the field; and
     "notched" corners in the upper deck to give drivers on a
     nearby expressway a view into the stadium and fans inside a
     view of the downtown.  The stadium is 20% completed and so
     far "on time and on budget" (Baltimore SUN, 3/21).
