WORCESTER DECLINES TO SEEK SECOND TERM AS CEO OF WTA TOUR

Corel WTA Tour CEO Anne Person Worcester has notified
the Tour's Board of Directors that she will not pursue
another term when her contract expires at the end of '97.
Worcester cited personal reasons for making this decision.
She had been Tour CEO since September '94. Worcester:
"[M]y husband and I are expecting our second child in
September and I plan to pursue other opportunities more
consistent with my personal goals at the time." The Board
will begin a search for a successor with the goal of having
someone in place by January '98, when Worcester's contract
expires (Corel WTA Tour). Worcester's contract is estimated
to be worth $250,000 annually (N.Y. TIMES, 3/18).
