          The NCAA's Internet home page was hacked Sunday and
     replaced with racial slurs.  Internet officials were able to
     divert web surfers to the proper page (AP/DALLAS MORNING
     NEWS, 3/10)....Packers Coach Mike Holmgren has canceled all
     of his weekly TV and radio shows for the '97 season so he
     can focus his attention to repeating as Super Bowl champions
     (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 3/7)....The Canadian Justice
     Department "assured" Grand Prix F-1 of Canada, the holder of
     broadcast rights to Grand Prix events, and the nation's TV
     networks, that the telecasting of F-1 Grand Prix races in
     Canada will continue to be legal until October 1, 1998
     (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL, 3/8)....Stars play-by-play announcer
     Ralph Strangis has signed a three-year contract extension to
     carry him through the end of the 1999-2000 season (FT. WORTH
     STAR-TELEGRAM, 3/9)...One of Europe's "most-talked-about TV
     alliances has come to an end" with BSkyB, the Rupert
     Murdoch-controlled pay TV "giant," splitting with Germany's
     Kirch Group before their digital TV deal "even got off the
     ground" (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 3/10).
