FRANCHISE NOTES

Bucs GM Rich McKay said in a deposition yesterday that
last year Hollywood Park, CA, race track Owner R.D. Hubbard
offered $60M up front as well as up to $90M in additional
revenues to Bucs Owner Malcolm Glazer if he would sell

averaging 2,896 a game at the Long Beach Arena. The team
will "expand its marketing energies" to more cities and
Klonowksi said she would "like to see an average of 5,000 or
6,000 a game" for next season. She also agrees with the
team policy of not giving tickets away: "Typically, if you
get a free ticket, you're less likely to attend" (Long Beach
     PRESS-TELEGRAPH, 2/23)....The Chiefs said 97% of '96 season-
ticket holders have renewed so far (K.C. STAR, 2/27)....The

businesses (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 2/26)....Mark Aguirre
plans to "voluntarily relinquish" his position as Dir of
