          HBO's Boxing After Dark scored its highest rating ever
     on the one-year anniversary of the program's launch, with an
     8.3/17 cable rating for last Saturday's fights (HBO)....
     Beasley Reece is leaving his post as Sports Dir for WVIT-TV
     in Harftord, to become Sports Dir at WTOG-TV in Tampa
     (HARTFORD COURANT, 2/26)....ACTV "claims" that 80% of its
     users in the 1,000 households participating in an 18-month
     test in the L.A. area said their satisfaction with TCI of
     Ventura County rose as a result of the interactive sports
     service (BROADCASTING & CABLE, 2/24 issue)....According to
     SI Publishing Dir Merill Squires, among international plans
     for SI are: a Japanese-language edition of an SI Golf Plus
     insert, and NBA preview issue for Australia, and Olympic
     souvenir issues (ADVERTISING AGE, 2/24 issue)....HTS and the
     Orioles "are expected" to formally announce today the hiring
     of Cavs announcer Michael Reghi as the team's new TV play-
     by-play man (Baltimore SUN, 2/26).
