The Jets, coming off a 1-15 season, the worst in
franchise history, are raising ticket prices. The team
"sent notices to season-ticket holders reflecting an average
increase of 20%," according to Rich Cimini of the N.Y. DAILY
NEWS. It was the Jets' first ticket price change since '92.
(N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 2/22). The increase, in which "most of
the lowest-priced tickets" at $25 will increase to $30, puts
the Jets' average at $30.87 (N.Y. TIMES, 2/22).
