MEDIA NOTES

In New York, Mary Huhn writes, "Now that MSNBC on the
Internet is six months old," the web half of the
Microsoft/NBC joint news venture "can look forward to a
total redesign and expansion of its site" (http://www.msnbc.
com) (N.Y. POST, 2/9)....Bulls & White Sox Chair Jerry
Reinsdorf and SportsChannel GM James Corno say that the
upcoming half-hour weekly show "Bulls/Sox Underground" will
be more "info and less mercial." Corno: "The last thing we
want to do is another promo show. I don't think there is an
audience for it." Reinsdorf said SportsChannel won't get
exclusives withheld from other media and that the Bulls and
White Sox "will have ultimate control over the editorial
content of the show" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 2/10).
