          TV New Zealand and CVM TV in Jamaica reached basic
     agreements with the IOC for the rights to broadcast the
     Nagano Games.  The rights for New Zealand went for
     US$600,000 and for Jamaica $12,000.  These are the highest
     amounts ever paid for both regions (THE DAILY)....ESPN2
     gained 2.66 million households in the month of January to
     February '97.  Total ESPN2 homes now hits 44.45 million, or
     45.8% of TV households (ESPN2)....Canadian Hockey and TSN
     have signed a five-year TV deal allowing the all-sports
     network to broadcast the world junior and men's world hockey
     championships through 2002 (VANCOUVER SUN, 1/30).
