FOX DETAILS VENTURE WITH BRAZIL'S GLOBO FOR SPORTS CHANNEL

          Fox Sports Int'l and Brazilian media company Globosat
     have formed a joint venture to launch a new Portuguese-
     language, 24-hour sports channel in Brazil named Fox Sports. 
     The channel, set to launch in the second quarter of '97,
     will be distributed to cable and exclusively via the Sky Net
     Entertainment DBS service.  Fox Sports will offer both local
     and int'l sports programming and will work with Globosat's
     SporTv to develop programming schedules (Fox).
