ICE RINKS HUIZENGA'S NEXT BLOCKBUSTER VENTURE?

          Wayne Huizenga's FL Panthers Holdings has purchased
     Incredible Ice, a new two-rink skating and entertainment
     center in Coral Springs, FL, in a deal valued at more than
     $15M, according to Larry Lebowitz of the Ft. Lauderdale SUN-
     SENTINEL.  The 75,000-square-foot complex features two NHL-
     regulation rinks, a retail store and pro shop, video
     arcades, restaurants, ice-side foot courts and a sports bar. 
     Panthers Holdings President Richard Evans said the company
     hasn't decided "where or how" it will replicate Incredible
     Ice in South FL, but Lebowitz notes "there's no doubt that
     Huizenga and Panthers Holdings have the wherewithal to
     develop several Incredible Ice outlets on very short
     notice."  The company also said yesterday that it raised
     $68.2M in new cash from the private placement of 2.46
     million shares of stock to institutional investors who paid
     $27.75 per share (Ft. Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL, 1/29).
