          ESPN's Gary Danielson is "sure to get strong
     consideration" to replace new Rams GM/coach Dick Vermeil on
     ABC's college football telecasts (DETROIT NEWS, 1/23)....On
     ESPNET's SportsZone, contributor Steve Joynt examines Fox's
     NHL FoxTrax and NBC's NBA SkyCam.  On FoxTrax, Joynt: "It's
     time to dump this piece of graphic junk before some other
     management bonehead decides to use it on baseball."  On
     SkyCam: "There's a place for Airsick Cam, especially on
     replays (the way they used the backboard cams) if they can
     just figure out how to keep it from floating down into the
     regular game picture" (ESPNET, 1/21).
