PPV NEWS: DE LA HOYA FIGHT WINS PPV OSCAR WITH 400,000 BUYS

          TVKO announced over 400,000 buys and over $14M in pay-
     per-view revenues for Saturday's Oscar De La Hoya-Miguel 
     Angel Gonzalez fight.  The fight carried a suggested retail
     price of $34.97 had 340,000 cable system buys and 60,000
     purchases in the direct-to-home markets.  It was De La
     Hoya's best career PPV performance (TVKO).  Rudy Martzke
     calls it a "surprisingly high" buy (USA TODAY, 1/22).
          EVERY DAY IS LIKE SUNDAY: NFL Season Ticket had "its
     best season to date," according to Kim Mitchell of CABLE
     WORLD.  It sold more than 400,000 residential subscriptions
     at $159 (CABLE WORLD, 1/20 issue).
