          Walt Disney Co. extended the contract of Chair and CEO
     MICHAEL EISNER through September, 2006, in a package worth
     over $203M.  Eisner's base salary will remain at $750,000,
     with stock options and performance bonuses making up the
     balance of the agreement (N.Y. POST, 1/10)....The '96
     Stanley Cup Champion Avalanche will visit the White House
     for a ceremony with PRESIDENT CLINTON today (NHL)...Former
     Kings Owner BRUCE MCNALL was sentenced yesterday in L.A. to
     70 months in prison and ordered to pay $5M in restitution on
     four counts of fraud (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 1/10).
