POST RODMAN SPAZ-ATTACK: SC SORRY, KODAK STANDS BY ITS MAN

Officials at SportsChannel apologized Monday for airing
too much of Dennis Rodman's "profanity-laced commentary"
after he was ejected from the Bulls-Raptors game on Sunday
night. In his antics, Rodman told the league to "[bleep]
off" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 12/10). Eastman Kodak Dir of
Corporate Media Relations Charlie Smith, on whether Rodman's
actions will impact its Rodman ad campaign: "It would take
behavior beyond that to cause us to reconsider the campaign.
He had a reputation for being naughty and the commercials
poke fun at that ... [his act] last night reinforces what
people already know about him. We don't, frankly, have any
control over his vocabulary" (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 12/10).
