ESPNEWS ADDS FIVE ADVERTISERS AND NEW CABLE CARRIER

          ESPNEWS signed Campbell's Soup, Fila, Foot Locker,
     Holiday Inn and Pennzoil as network advertisers.  They join
     Coors, General Motors, Levi Strauss, McDonald's and P&G, all
     of whom signed on as charter advertisers prior to the
     November 1 launch.  ESPNEWS has also signed an affiliation
     deal with Garden State Cable for carriage to its subscriber
     base of over 205,000 homes in the Philadelphia area (ESPN).
          BRISTOL NEWS:  ESPN Int'l has acquired broadcast rights
     to Pacific League and Caribbean World Series baseball,
     including regular season, playoffs and finals of the Pacific
     League and Caribbean World Series in February,'97
     (ESPN)....ESPN and Sears Point Raceway signed a multi-year
     deal for ESPN to continue airing NASCAR's Winston Cup Save
     Mart Supermarkets 300 held in May at Sonoma, CA (ESPN).
