SPORTS MARKETING COMPANY ENTERS FAST TRACK WITH NASCAR TIES

          Jim Doyle, former Muhleman Marketing Inc. VP/Marketing
     and Bob Dickinson, former Turner Sports Dir of Program
     Acquisition, have teamed to form the motorsports marketing
     company, DickinsonDoyle, according to Erik Spanberg of the
     CHARLOTTE BUSINESS JOURNAL.  The Charlotte-based company
     will focus on helping corporate clients sign and leverage
     NASCAR sponsorships, as well as packaging radio and TV
     properties with sponsors.  Current clients include Food Lion
     Stores, Fleer/SkyBox Int'l and Global Broadcasting Inc.  The
     company currently has three employees and hopes to employ
     seven by '98.  It plans to generate "more than" $2M annually
     within two years and be profitable within one year, with
     about 80-90% of its business motorsports-based.  Fleer
     /SkyBox Exec VP Tuck Hardie said DickinsonDoyle is helping
     the trading-card company to link NASCAR drivers and comic-
     book characters.  DickinsonDoyle is also marketing and
     packaging the nationally syndicated radio show, "Thunder
     Road" for a '97 launch (CHARLOTTE BUSINESS JOURNAL, 12/9).
