MLB NEWS & NOTES: BREWERS, TWINKIES SPORT NEW DUDS

The Brewers are planning "modifications" in its uniforms for
next season, according to Bob Wolfley of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL
SENTINEL. The team's jerseys are expected to have numbers on the
front with the letters for "Brewers" all being the same type and
size; green will not be a part of the color scheme, with blue
taking a more prominent role. Also, the Brewers cap logo will
not feature both the letters "M" and "B," just "M" (MILWAUKEE
JOURNAL SENTINEL, 11/14).
TWINS: The Twins will wear two new jerseys for the '97
season in addition to the club's traditional pinstriped home
white and road grey uniforms, according to the Minneapolis STAR
TRIBUNE. The jerseys, one red and the other blue, will be mainly
worn on weekends, holidays and special occasions. They represent
the first major change in Twins uniforms since '87 (Minneapolis
STAR TRIBUNE, 11/14).
REDS: The Reds will increase premium tickets at Cinergy
Field for '97. The biggest jump will be for blue level box
seats, which will increase from $11.50 to $14l. It's the Reds
first increase in four years (USA TODAY, 11/14).
