     Boston-based Continental Cablevision, the nation's third-
largest operator of local cable TV systems, will accept liquor
advertising on a regional basis.  The company's new policy states
ads will only be shown between 10:00pm and 2:00am (AD AGE ONLINE,
11/12).....Sportsfund has completed its third month of operations
with a three-month 4.10% total return, not including the effect
of the fund's maximum 4% sales charge.  The top ten holdings as
of October 31, in alphabetical order: Action Performance, Arctic
Cat, Brunswick, Fountain Powerboat, Hibbett Sporting Goods, K-
Swiss, National Golf Properties, Penn National Gaming, Tultex and
Vans (Sportsfund)....CNBC contributor Sally Jenkins, on Tiger
Woods' contract with Nike: "This kid may well be worth it.  He's
really being positioned by Nike already ... as the next global
icon along the lines of Michael Jordan.  They feel like he is
going to open up a huge new audience for them ... in golf and
worldwide and among the younger, hipper crowd.  They are
designing a line around him similar to Jordan's that is going to
be called 'Swoosh 18'" ("SportsView," CNBC, 11/11).
