     Corel WTA Tour CEO ANNE PERSON WORCESTER talks about her
start in pro sports in the November issue of COSMOPOLITAN --
selling tickets out of an attic for $100 a week.  Worcester: "My
advice to young women: Don't be afraid to start at the bottom"
(THE DAILY)....JULIUS ERVING, on going to Augusta National to
watch the Masters.  Erving: "Going through the gate at Augusta
National, there was this old guy sitting at the gate.  I pulled
in with my rent-a-car and he said, 'Are you here to caddie
today?'  I was driving a Cadillac.  The only caddie was on my
steering wheel" (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 10/22)....WAYNE GRETZKY
and his family have reportedly found a 3,000-square-foot
penthouse in a 13-story building on the upper east side of
Manhattan.  The rent for the three-bedroom condo plus a separate
studio is $14,000 a month  (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL, 10/22).
