     Maple Leaf CEO/Chair STEVE STAVRO is in the process of
selling a large piece of his Ontario grocery chain, Knob Hill
Farms, to the Metro-Richelieu grocery chain of Quebec.  Metro-
Richelieu was a part owner of the Nordiques before the club was
sold and moved to Denver (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL, 10/17)....PGA
Tour golfer BRAD BRYANT'S advice to TIGER WOODS: "The only
problem I can see for Tiger is he's young, good looking and has
got a lot of money.  He needs to pick the right woman.  If he
does that, he's going to be fine.  If he picks the wrong woman,
he's going to be in big trouble" (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 10/17)....Rams
Owner STAN KROENKE reportedly is behind two investment groups
that recently purchased KC properties, the College & Metcalf
Center and the 6300 College Boulevard building.  The two
properties sold for a total price of around $20M (K.C. STAR,
10/15).
