     MADONNA reveals in her diary for the film "Evita" that she
suffered from insomnia and indicated that DENNIS RODMAN may have
caused it.  Madonna, on the insomnia: "Is it because a certain
disgusting basketball player I made the mistake of going out with
decided to publish an autobiography and devoted a whole chapter
to what it was like to have sex with me?" (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES,
10/10). "ET" featured HOWIE LONG on the set of his new action
movie, "Firestorm."  Long: "Unlike most action figures, I've had
my ass kicked" ("ET," 10/9). ....DAVID LETTERMAN, on field
preparation for Game One of the ALCS: "One problem, though, the
field, you know, was soggy.  And I think that was just from
ROBERTO ALOMAR warming up" ("Late Show," CBS, 10/9).
