     Former Twin Kirby Puckett will do commentary on up to three
playoff games for ESPN, and reportedly has been offered a deal to
work as a color commentator next season. (Minneapolis STAR
TRIBUNE, 9/30)....Industry sources tell the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER
that former "Late Show with David Letterman" Exec Producer Robert
Morton is close to signing a deal with ABC Entertainment that
will include a six-episode commitment for "Missing Links," a
sitcom based on SI's Rick Reilly's novel about a group of men who
hang out at a public golf course (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER,
9/30)....TicketMaster Canada said all game tickets for Canada's
major sports franchises are now available on-line at
http://www.ticket master.ca (TicketMaster)....Professional Sports
Publications signed a deal to serve as the exclusive ad sales
firm for the ACC and Big East Tournament Magazines (PSP).
