     The "Fleer Thanks a Million" contest will give contestants
the chance to win $1M by hitting a baseball off a tee into any of
three, 5-foot square targets 200 feet from home plate at Camden
Yards and Dodgers Stadium. Winners were selected via a scratch-
and-win promo launched in February '96 and five contestants will
try for the money in Baltimore and five will try in L.A.

target pro players and the staffs of the various Bay Area pro
teams in need of housing and financing (SAN FRANCISCO BUSINESS

Coca-Cola /PepsiCo/Shaquille O'Neal situation in L.A.  O'Neal's
agent, Leonard Armato, claims the potential conflict between
Coca-Cola and PepsiCo never came up during contract negotiations
with the Lakers (L.A. BUSINESS JOURNAL, 9/9 issue)....Delco
President & CEO Gary Dickinson, on sponsoring the IRL Galles
Racing Team: "We want to position ourselves to win at Indy.  We
need to be in the entire series to be really competitive at Indy"
(INDIANAPOLIS STAR/NEWS, 9/15).
