WEB SITE OF THE WEEK: PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR PASSION IS

For all sports enthusiasts looking to invest some extra
cash, Sportsfund, the sports-related mutual fund, has put its
prospectus and background information on the World Wide Web at
http://www.sportsfund.com. Much of the homepage is still under
construction, but browsers can win a free autographed football
from former Giant and Sportsfund consultant Ottis Anderson. The
promo is marked by a notice that Anderson "does not endorse or
recommend an investment in Sportsfund nor is he involved in the
management of the fund's assets" -- a gentle reminder that in the
fluctuating world of mutual funds, there is no such thing as a
sure bet. A prospectus is available, along with the early
performance of the six-week fund. Background on Sportsfund's
managers and information about the fund are also linked to the
homepage. Still in the works are "Fun Facts About Sports" and
other "Sports/Financial Links" (THE DAILY).
