TIME IS NOT ON THEIR SIDE: FOX 70% SOLD OUT ON WORLD SERIES

     Fox Sports has sold "only" 70% of its ad time for the
upcoming World Series, according to ADVERTISING AGE.  By
contrast, next year's Super Bowl, also on Fox, is already sold
out.  According to one media buyer, "Baseball just hasn't
regained the cachet or interest."  Advertisers looking to buy
time on Fox's pre-Super Bowl show or prime time "may soon be
persuaded to package that buy" with the World Series (AD AGE
ONLINE, 9/16).
