FRANCHISE NOTES

     Only 20,082 fans attended the Ravens-Oilers game Sunday,
establishing an all-time low for an Oilers game at the Astrodome
(HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 9/16)....NBC's Will McDonough on rumors of
the Colts possibly moving to Cleveland: "Don't pay any attention
to it.  The Colts have a lease in Indianapolis that runs through
the year 2014.  And as the Houston Oilers will tell you, when you
have time on your lease, nobody let's you move" ("NFL on NBC,"
NBC, 9/15)....The NHL Rangers will reveal their third jersey in
January.  They are darker blue with read and silver lining around
the numbers (NEWSDAY, 9/15)....Bruins Owner Jeremy Jacobs, on
rumors he is selling the team: "I am not selling the team and no
one is trying to buy it.  At this point in time, our [family]
thoughts are more about how we can pass this team on to future
generations" (BOSTON GLOBE, 9/14).
