Seattle and Portland areas at http://www.ticketmaster.com
(Ticketmaster)....The CBA will launch their official web site,
CBAHOOPS.com, on September 17 (CBA)....The N.Y. TIMES' Mark
Landler writes that his sources say the FTC plans to announce
today it has approved Time Warner's merger with Turner
Broadcasting (N.Y. TIMES, 9/12)....Tampa's first all-sports radio
station, WFNS, is changing formats.  What happens to Magic
broadcasts on WFNS "are still in question," pending a
conversation today with the team (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 9/12)....In
Boston, Jack Craig notes Spike Lee's profile of Albert Belle on
HBO's "Real Sports" was "not nearly as impressive" as his
previous work on Georgetown Head Basketball Coach John Thompson
(BOSTON GLOBE, 9/12)....Due to a contractual agreement, Prime
Sports will air the third and final game, if necessary, of the
World Cup of Hockey Championship on a tape-delay basis Sunday, at
11:30 AM MT (Prime)....Ben Crenshaw joins the CBS Sports golf
team as an analyst for at least 10 events starting in '97 (CBS).
