L.A. KINGS PRESIDENT LEIWEKE LOOKS TOWARD SERIOUS FANS

     L.A. Kings President Tim Leiweke is profiled by Tim Deady in
the L.A. BUSINESS JOURNAL.  In a one page Q&A,  Leiweke said the
team's ad theme for the season will be called "Serious Hockey."
He added the team is "not going to be image and glamour and movie
stars.  We're going to be about serious hockey."  Leiweke: "We're
not going after the Hollywood crowd.  We're a hockey team."  On a
new arena, Leiweke is "involved to the extent that I am the one
who will be operating the arena."  He said the new building "will
have a corporate name," but assured that "this arena is going to
be entirely financed through private funds, which means there
will be no municipal bonds, no taxpayer money" (L.A. BUSINESS
