     MLB Giants announcer Hank Greenwald will step down after the
season.  He has been with the Giants 16 years, and has covered
the Yankees and NBA Warriors (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 8/28)....In
Chicago, George Lazarus notes rumors of "several changes among
publishers" at Time, Inc.  Jack Haire, who has been publisher of
Time, "may be taking that post at Sports Illustrated," where he
would report to David Long, who, sources say, would move up to
President.  Current SI President Don Elliman would take another
management job at Time, Inc.  A Time spokesperson denied any
changes were pending (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 8/28).....AT&T Corp.
will offer an Instant Answers service in October to make it
easier for businesses to communicate with customers on the
Internet. Businesses can place a special icon on their Web pages
and by clicking on the icon, potential customers signal a call to
a company (NEWSDAY, 8/28)....The NBA Kings and KPWB-TV announced
a 25 over-the-air regular season game package, with 18 road games
(Kings).
