NAMES IN THE NEWS: SPORTS MARKETING LETTER'S MOST WANTED

     Sports Marketing Letter's annual "Ten Most Wanted List,"
based on endorsement earnings, was released with the following
'96 earning potential results:  MICHAEL JORDAN ($38M), SHAQUILLE
O'NEAL ($23M), ARNOLD PALMER ($16M), ANDRE AGASSI ($15.8M), JACK
NICKLAUS ($14.5M), GRANT HILL ($14M), JOE MONTANA ($12M), WAYNE
GRETZKY ($8.75M), DEION SANDERS ($6M) and HAKEEM OLAJUWON ($5M).
No women were included in the list for the first time. NANCY
KERRIGAN and BONNIE BLAIR were previously listed (Mult., 8/27).
