LIBERTY'S JIM MARTIN REPORTEDLY NAMED COO OF FOX SPORTS NET

     Jim Martin, President of Network Operations for Liberty
Sports, has been named COO of Fox Sports Net, the domestic sports
arm of the new Fox/Liberty venture, according to Scott Hettrick
of HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.  Martin, who is based in CO and oversees
Prime and Liberty Sports affiliates, will move to L.A. to assume
day-to-day operations of Fox Sports Net, expected to start in
November.  Hettrick notes the launch "is reportedly planned to be
timed with the planned introduction" of the new RSN in the
Washington, DC market, as Fox has submitted a $20M bid for rights
to the Bullets, Capitals and Orioles (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 8/21).
