team, Topps will release a "super-premium" trading card set of
league legends (Topps)....Although the Brickyard 400 at the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a sellout in its third year, it
doesn't "boost demand for hotel" space as does the Indy 500
(INDIANAPOLIS STAR-NEWS, 7/23)....SportsNet Marketing and
Management will represent the MLS Dallas Burn's Jason Kreis
(SportsNet)....PespsiCo's second-quarter operating earnings rose
15% on improved sales at it beverage and snack food businesses.
Profit from operations rose to $560M, or $.34 a share (ATLANTA
CONSTITUTION, 7/24).  Lawrence Adelman, Securities Analyst for
Dean Witter Reynolds, notes "Pepsi seems to be maintaining its
own," against strong results from Coca-Cola (N.Y. TIMES, 7/24).
