scheduled a press conference today to announce a multi-year
partnership (MSG)....Despite the deaths of a driver and track
official at the Molson Indy race last weekend, marketing execs in
Canada say the incident will have little impact on Molson beer
sales or its corporate image. The GLOBE & MAIL's Marina Strauss
notes, "in a perverse way," Molson may "actually gain" from

Tour's Nike Classic in Provo has inked two co-presenting sponsors
for the September event. The Mountain West Buick Dealer Group
and RC Willy Home Furnishing have become the lead sponsors after

GLOBE & MAIL investment writer Stephen Northfield looks at the
competition between Nike and Reebok. Nike plans to start selling
eyeglasses for athletes and is looking at making films and CD-
ROMs about athletes and sports. Nike hockey sticks are "also a
possibility" to go with their lines of skates (Toronto GLOBE &
