International" named TONY BALL as its new COO & Exec VP.  Ball
will oversee businesses including Prime Deportiva, Fox Sports
Australia, and Prime Sports International program sales and
syndication business.  He was GM/Broadcasting at British SkyB
(ISP/Fox)....The Eagles promoted JOE BANNER and MIMI BOX to
Senior VP, and named JEFF KAPLAN as Operations Manager, TODD
STAROWITZ as PR Assistant, and NICK GANNON as Personnel Assistant
(SPORTSTICKER)....ERIC BRESLER has been named Dir of Marketing
for the Ice Palace, scheduled to open this October in downtown
Tampa (Ice Palace)....The Rangers dismissed PR Dir BROOKS THOMAS
earlier this week.  He was with the team for one year (N.Y.
TIMES, 6/21).
