OLYMPIC NOTES: MORE TICKETS ON SALE TODAY

     Previously listed as sellouts, new tickets were put on sale
today to the opening and closing ceremonies for the Atlanta
Games.  The tickets became available after ACOG finalized its
seating configuration for Olympic Stadium.  "Several thousand"
seats initially expected to be blocked by cameras and other
equipment opened up for sale (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 6/21)....U.S.
sponsors, suppliers and sports organizations participating in the
'98 Winter Games in Nagano will have access to familiar
communications services and support through a new business
venture formed last week between Bedford, NY-based Int'l Sports
Marketing Consultants Ltd. (ISMC) and Tokyo-based LBS Ltd
(ISMC)....A poll published in Sweden Thursday shows 40% of Swedes
are "strongly opposed" to hosting the 2004 Summer Games, even
though officials are bidding for the event (USA TODAY,
6/21)....McDonald's is estimated to be spending "at least" $100M
on the Atlanta Games (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 6/21)....SWATCH has
announced plans for its Olympic Pavilion to be located in
Centennial Olympic Park.  The pavilion will be covered with a
plastic skin created from clear and semi-transparent
polycarbonate sheet product allowing people to look inside the
building from the outside (SWATCH)....L.A.-based silk screen
artist Hiro Yamagata has been asked to design and produce the
official poster for the NAOC (NAGANO OLYMPIC NEWS, 5/96
issue)...."NBC Nightly News" reported on "the aging hero of the
Centennial Games in Atlanta" -- Carl Lewis -- and his record
fifth Olympic birth (NBC, 6/20)
