SALT LAKE OFFICIALS SELECT LANDOR/EVANS+ FOR IMAGE CAMPAIGN

     The SLOC board of trustees has selected Landor/Evans+ to
develop and implement the "visual image look and feel" of the
2002 Games.  SLOC will now finalize details with Landor/Evans+, a
partnership formed by EvansGroup Marketing and Communication of
Salt Lake City and Landor Associates of San Francisco.  SLOC Dir
of Image Mary Gaddie said the program will encompass all the
visual elements related to the Games and applications to a wide
variety of materials, ranging from business cards and letterhead
to uniforms, a logo, a mascot, and a graphic standards manual
(SLOC).
