WEDNESDAY WEB SITE OF THE WEEK

     The LPGA recently debuted its Web site at http://www.
lpga.com -- a site strong on graphics, pictures and positive
messages about the Tour and its players.  The site offers info on
stats, schedule, player bios, TV and corporate partners and
merchandise.  But also prominently displayed are areas for the
Tour's grassroots programs:  LPGA Teaching (with regional info on
local teachers); Junior Programs (with info on Girls Golf,
Crayola Clinics and the Urban Youth programs); and "Women in
Business," with info on the Gillette LPGA Golf Clinics for Women.
The site maintains continuity in feel and theme with the tagline
"Playing the Game of Our Lives" echoed throughout (THE DAILY).
