     Eagles fans will have their first opportunity to purchase
merchandise bearing the new logo and midnight green colors when
shipments hit stores today.  JCPenney, Hecht's and Modells stores
will take part in the roll-out (NFL).... Prices for 79% of Heat
tickets next season will remain steady, but prices for courtside
and some lower level tickets will go up.  $95 courtside seats
will increase to $150; $75 seats will go up to $125; and $39
lower level seats will rise to $50 (Heat)....The T-Wolves unveil
their new logo this Saturday, followed by a fashion show for the
new design Sunday (T-Wolves)....The MLBPA has asked an arbitrator
to make John Wetteland a free agent due to the fact the Yankees
have been paying him commensurate to a $2M salary rather than his
$4M contract (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 5/15). ....Following the Spurs'
decision to sell upper level seats for $5, the "Alamodome was
loud and sold out, filled to the brim" (34,215) for last night's
game (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 5/15)....The NFL Panthers have
sold out all single game tickets for next season (CHARLOTTE
OBSERVER, 5/15).
