STADIUM NOTES

     Mike Ilitch's Olympia Arenas Inc. has changed its name to
Olympia Entertainment to "better reflect the breadth of its
product."  The company is working on a new logo (CRAIN'S DETROIT
BUSINESS, 5/6 issue)....The Broncos' political success in the CO
legislature in gaining approval of their stadium bill is profiled
in the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS.  With the "razor-thin" margin of
victory, it "was clear that [Broncos Owner] Pat Bowlen and his
advisers had engineered perhaps the best strategic upset in
Broncos history" (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 5/12)....Huber, Hunt &
Nichols, an Indianapolis-based company, has reportedly won a
contract to oversee construction of the Mariners new retractable
domed-stadium in Seattle.  They are construction manager in
Phoenix for Bank One Ballpark (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 5/11).
