     SportsChannel hopes to bring its "condensed" Light version -
- a 30-minute offering of games -- to the New York market this
summer.  A title sponsor is being sought (BRANDWEEK,
4/22)....Prodigy launched its Web-based baseball fantasy game
yesterday at http://www. baseballmanager.com.  Prices for the
full service are $99.95 for subscribers and $149.95 for non-
subscribers (Prodigy)....Classic Sports Network has signed a
distribution deal with TCI (MEDIAWEEK, 4/22)....SportsTicker
announced its service will be available to subscribers of the
Wave Interactive Network CablePC Project, a planned cable channel
providing digital content on a pay-per-use basis
(SportsTicker)....NewSport has signed Stan Fischler as a hockey
analyst (NewSport).... Baseball ratings on ESPN are up 19% over
'95, and TBS Braves ratings are up 11% (USA TODAY,
4/24)....Suspended CBS golf analyst Ben Wright has entered an
alcohol rehab program at the Betty Ford Center, according to the
upcoming GOLFWEEK (PHILA. DAILY NEWS, 4/24)....Turner Network
Sales topped the Myers Reports' list of leading network
sales/marketing divisions (CABLE WORLD, 4/22 issue).
