     NewSport's Norm Hitzges on MICHAEL IRVIN: "His conduct
outside of the courtroom has turned many people off. ... One week
after he was indicted, he was seen in bars with the same two
women" (NewSport, 4/23)....PETER MCNEELEY pleaded guilty to
hitting a man in the face with a beer bottle.  He received a
suspended six-month sentence and was ordered to undergo
evaluation of an alcohol problem (WASHINGTON POST, 4/24)....Oprah
Winfrey hosted DENNIS RODMAN for a show to be aired in the next
few weeks (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 4/24)....DER SPIEGEL reports STEFFI
GRAF remains under investigation for tax evasion and might miss
the U.S. Open.  The paper reported Graf could go bankrupt as a
result of collection of unpaid taxes and lawyer fees (CHICAGO
SUN-TIMES, 4/24).
