     Ticketmaster is charging an additional $4.10 for every $10
ticket to the Atlanta Grand Prix Track & Field, the 1st event at
the new Olympic Stadium (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 4/23)....A
Copeland Hirthler Design plan called "The Look of the Games" will
blanket almost the entire city -- airport, expressways, parks and
plazas -- with various designs of Olympic rings, the Quilt of
Leaves and the flame logo (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 4/22)....NBC
Sports President Dick Ebersol is still fine-tuning the network's
schedule, altered when the Marathon was moved to the morning last
month.  Ebersol, who announced that NBC was 90% ready, will
release a final schedule May 19 (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION,
4/21)....To combat terrorism at the Games, Olympic officials are
forming what they describe as the largest security force
assembled in peacetime for a U.S. event (WASHINGTON POST,
4/23).... Hydron Technologies announced a sponsorship deal with
the U.S. Men's Gymnastics team where Hydron will be the official
supplier of hand moisturizer and other personal care products
(Hydron)....Out of all the U.S. cities making a bid for the 2008
or 2012 Olympic Games -- Houston, Boston, Chicago and Seattle --
only Houston's John Kelley attended the U.S. Olympic Committee
Meeting in San Diego last week (HOUSTON CHRONICLE,
4/21)....Hakins Meetings & Incentives has been retained by an IOC
supplier, an ACOP sponsor and a USA Baseball supplier to provide
travel and hospitality programs for more than 1,000 VIPs at the
Games (Hakins).
