COWBOYS REACH MARKETING AGREEMENT WITH TEXAS AMUSEMENT PARK

The Cowboys and Six Flags Over Texas have reached a first-
time marketing agreement designed to "capture families for a full
weekend of football and theme park attractions," according to the
FORT WORTH STAR TELEGRAM. The agreement also ties in with the
Irving Convention & Visitors Bureau which hopes to fill hotel
rooms in late July and August, one of the slowest times for the
city's hotels. The agreement calls for group priced tickets to
Six Flags ($16.41 per person), a $32 or $33 ticket for a pre-
season Cowboys game, and the weekend rate at an Irving hotel,
plus passes to a party at the Cowboy Corral. The Cowboys and Six
Flags will merge mailing lists to target families with children
in a 300-mile radius (June White, FT. WORTH STAR TELEGRAM, 4/17).
