HOCKEY FANS WON'T GET THE BLUES AT SUCH HIGH PRICES

     St. Louis-area cable operator Charter Communications has
agreed to make Blues pay-per-view playoff telecasts available
after an agreement was reached to lower the price of each game.
Charter's subscribers will pay less than the estimated $16-20 a
game, with prices set at $9.95 for the first home game in round
one and $12.95 for subsequent first round games.  Second round
games will run $14.95.  Other cable companies in the area have
not announced their pricing plans (Dan Caesar, ST. LOUIS POST-
DISPATCH, 4/10).
