ANHEUSER-BUSCH MOVES BASEBALL MONEY TO ANOTHER SPORT

     Out of the baseball ownership business in St. Louis,
Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. is "ready to play ball of a different
nature," according to the ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH.  Tournament
officials will announce today that Michelob Light has agreed to
become the new title sponsor for the LPGA Heartland Classic at
Forest Hills Country Club.  Group Health Plan dropped out as the
title sponsor of the $550,000 event after last year.  Del Wilber
& Associates President Larry Albus said the "prestige" the
Michelob family brings to the event is "unparalleled.  The
agreement covers the third and final year of the contract between
the LPGA and Del Wilber.  Negotiations are underway to extend the
agreement and officials indicated Michelob Light is "poised" to
make a long-term commitment to the event when a new deal
completed (Dan O'Neill, ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 3/27).
