OLYMPIC NOTES

     ACOG has yet to make its initial $1.9M payment to the city
of Atlanta for municipal services such as police and fire
protection.  ACOG officials say they are still reviewing the
contract (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 3/26)....To help TEAM USA members
stay in touch with "the important people in their lives" during
the Atlanta Games, Motorola is giving all U.S. Olympic athletes
the new, limited edition OlymPager (Motorola)....Olympic
organizers in Salt Lake City have signed contracts with Fred A.
Moreton & Co. and Deloitte & Touche.  Moreton will handle risk
management and insurance brokering; Deloitte & Touche will
provide auditing and "other services" (SALT LAKE TRIBUNE,
3/21).... ACOG officials announced more than 38,000 of the
135,000 Olympic tickets put on sale Saturday were sold (ATLANTA
CONSTITUTION, 3/25)....Kodak will leverage its Olympic
sponsorship with an "array of collectibles" (BRANDWEEK, 3/25
issue)....UEFA, which governs European soccer, is refusing to
allow European teams in the Olympics to use players over the age
of 21 (L.A. TIMES, 3/26)....The Copeland Hirther design firm
unveils the "look of the games" today, including banners,
uniforms and tickets (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 3/26).
