AT&T SET TO ANNOUNCE ENTERTAINMENT PACKAGE CONCEPT

     AT&T will announce today its plans for home entertainment
packages that will include Internet access and direct satellite
entertainment packages, all designed to "sell everything on one
monthly bill."  In today's N.Y. POST, Paul Tharp reports AT&T
will offer up to 150 channels in its joint venture with DirecTV,
and is likely to "market the entertainment package to its broad
customer base" of 80 million homes and 10 million businesses
(N.Y. POST, 3/25).
