     SET Senior VP Jay Larkin is confident Saturday's PPV
telecast of the Tyson-Bruno fight will approach the record of 1.5
million buys set last August when Tyson fought Peter McNeeley.
But Prentis Rogers notes SET "hasn't been reluctant to add a
couple of wrinkles" to generate more interest, including Tommy
Morrison as a co-host (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 3/15).  Barry Gould
of GOULD MEDIA predicts a buy of 1.1 million homes (USA TODAY,
3/15)....Tim McCarver has joined Fox as the network's No. 1
baseball analyst.  He reportedly agreed to a deal for around
$650,000 (USA TODAY, 3/15)....Rich Eisen has joined ESPN and will
make his "SportsCenter" debut on March 16.  He was sports anchor/
reporter at KRCR-TV in Redding, CA (ESPN).....Prime Sports Radio
will add daily NASCAR reports from former driver Buddy Baker.
The five-minute "NASCAR Reports" will air Monday through Friday
(Prime Sports Radio)....Steve Zipay notes that ESPN2 upset many
viewers when they cut away from the closing ceremonies at the
Montreal Forum on Monday for a taped fitness show.  An ESPN
spokesperson said, "It was an internal miscommunication"
(NEWSDAY, 3/15).
