CHIEF YAHOO HAS FOUND A HOME IN NEW INDIANS TV NETWORK

     WUAB-Channel 43 in Ohio will put the Indians on broadcast TV
in three more cities this season over the newly formed Channel
43/Indians Baseball Network.  The network will televise at least
20 games on stations in Columbus, OH, Erie, PA, and Charleston,
WV.  The team has not had a TV network "for years" and has had
only "scattered telecasts" in Erie, Youngstown, and Toledo.  Last
year, the Indians were the No. 1 team in baseball in terms of
local TV ratings, averaging a 14 rating for each game on Channel
43.  The station will carry up to 70 regular-season games this
year (Cleveland PLAIN-DEALER, 3/11).
